The Chateau started at this location 43 years ago and continously has been a family run organization. This site is our only location, which has an abundance amount of history. Many years ago its origin was the famous night club of The Erie Social; People from afar would come to see the great acts of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., which was known as The Rat Pack. Many nights clients would come in and say that the memories are enormous of Tony Bennett performing on this stage, as well as Fats Domino, who used to be there a couple of times a week. At one time this was also the club of Cozy Morely's Erie Social. Then the Chateau came about with food being prepared from scratch, and always being prepared fresh. What also makes up the Chateau is knowing that when you have a consult with the Chateau staff that every detail will be addressed and no stone unturned. We will always take the word service very seriously, always giving every customer our undivided attention, letting them know they have become part of The Chateau Family.
The time that is spent by the Bride and Groom planning their special day has always been very tedious, The Church, The Caterer, Florist, Photographers,Etc. With The Cateau's experience and being in operation for 43 Years adjustments had to be addressed, such as becoming Ceremony capable, doing a full Ceremony set up.
After your Ceremony, being able to have your Bride and Groom go right into taking their pictures into the garden area, having your cocktail hour for your guests starting immediately after the Ceremony closing your drapes and transform the dining area in a timely manner. by completly closing the room off your guests never see this transformation take place. Ceremony capabilities have become very important to many Brides because simply you are not losing your guests from point A to point B and this will alleviate our couple from getting stressed.
As our staff does your Consultation in a relaxed mode you will also be able to branch out on to further ideas and get a better prospective of a wonderfull wedding day.
